About the Colleen Cares Organization
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to continue the philanthropic mission of Colleen Marie Gleason (1992-2020). To always lend a helping hand and think of other’s needs with a special focus on pediatric heart transplants, research, and education. To improve the community and help children through donations to other charities that were meaningful to Colleen.
OUR GOALS
2026 goals:
Fund raising activities in support of Colleen’s favorite charities, including ‘Tea Party & Purses’
Participate in community initiatives honoring Colleen
Continue efforts to expand Colleen Cares to support childrens hospitals in more than 3 states
Support Red Shoe Society at the Sixth Annual Ronald McDonald House ‘Summer Camp Colleen’
Support Junior League Chicago
Participate in the Lurie Children’s Hospital Annual Holiday Toy Drive
