The Giving Season during December 2025 helped Colleen Cares fulfill the Amazon wish list for the children at Lurie Children’s Hospital. These gifts created smiles and feelings of being cared for that really do help healing.

Fall favorites include remembering Colleen’s birthday and surprising others with random acts of kindness, just because she would!

The fifth annual Camp Colleen was held in July 2025 across seven Ronald McDonald houses - five in the Chicagoland area and two in Arizona!

A well deserved recognition for dedicated service to others! Christine Gleason presented the Junior League of Chicago’s Colleen Gleason Community Spirit Award to Catherine Anderson! This award, created in 2021 in memory of Colleen, embodies the JLC mission in advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact.

Our first virtual book drive to celebrate Colleen’s heart birthdays, both occurred in January. Over 100 books were donated to the Children’s Hospital Colorado.

The annual Tea Party & Purses fundraiser was beautiful! Our event was so well received that we have decided to make it an annual event in the fall of each year!
