2nd Annual Heart Birthday Book Drive

Our second annual book drive was successful and your generosity brought smiles to the Children’s Hospital of Colorado located in Aurora, CO (the Denver metro area). The Leanna family (led by Colleen’s aunt Bridgett and cousins Haley and Sydney) organized this book drive to celebrate Colleen’s heart birthdays.

These books and many more cheered up a child’s day, a break from their medical visits!

Colleen had two heart birthdays — her first on Jan 20 at age 3 and Jan 17 her second at age 20. Colleen and the Gleason family were always grateful for the donors and their families for their extraordinary decision to give the gift of life.

We know from experience how precious sharing stories can be and the warm memories they create. Thank you from all of us at Colleen Cares Organization.
